Imperfect but Beautiful Imperfect but Beautiful

Rather than denying our fragility, wholeness is
found when blemishes are embraced.

About Us

Inspired by the Japanese art of Kintsukuroi,
Living Wholeness Singapore sees beauty in the broken.

Like craftsmen who find value of their vessels within the cracks that mar the surfaces, we seek to
restore broken lives and help our clients discover worth within and beyond their wounds,
fulfilling their potential and celebrating the surpassing value of life renewed.

Our Approach

In our counselling and training, we use a wholistic, effective and God-centred framework called the Christian Wholeness Framework (CWF). This framework was developed by Dr John Warlow, an Australian Christian psychiatrist who was born in India into a missionary family, and it has been tested in the fires of many clients over many years, across diverse cultures, settings and counselling issues.

Being invitational in nature, CWF emphasizes respect for clients, giving them space and choices, and to journey with them in an empathic, non-judgemental and culturally-sensitive manner. In this respect, we have had the privilege of counselling clients from other faiths and nationalities, missionaries, pastors, expatriates and Christians.

One of the main strengths of CWF is its wholistic and unique approach to case conceptualisation which allows effective integration of different therapies so that the best intervention can be used to meet the unique needs of each individual, couple and family. CWF is also transferrable and has been used to train pastors, member-care providers, social workers and churches to do good care and discipleship.

As practitioners who have experienced God's healing and transformation in our lives through experiencing CWF, we continue to apply it in our daily lives - with our family, friends and others. We are privileged to have witness many of God's healing and transformation of people across all walks of life with different faith, culture, ethnicity, status and vocation.

Living Wholeness Singapore was birthed from a vision from God to serve the servants of God and to bring wholeness to individuals, families and communities.

  • We desire to see the broken-hearted healed, transformed and grow into healthy individuals, families and communities.

  • We believe that healthy individuals will lead to healthy families, and healthy families will lead to healthy communities that will bring love, healing and transformation to the nations.

  • We avail our services to all peoples; regardless of their faith, ethnicity and status, and we respect our client's preference for a faith-based or non-faith-based approach in our services.

  • We are both a company and a ministry: we strive to provide professional and excellent services at a reasonable fee, and at the same time, we seek to avail our services to God's servants and others who need it but are unable to afford it.

In fact, couples are 31% less likely to get divorced if they get some sort of pre-marriage training before they marry. Not only that, couples who participate in pre-marriage programs experience a 30% increase in marital success and fulfillment over those who do not participate. (source: SYMBIS)
